Content & link building

Content people search for. Links Google actually counts.

Content without authority does not rank. Authority without content has nothing to rank. This is the half of SEO that compounds — and the half most agencies fake with spun articles and purchased links.

Most “SEO content” is written for nobody

You have seen it: 1,500 words that restate the question three times, define a term everyone already knows, and never actually answer anything. It exists to hit a word count, not to help a reader. Google has spent a decade getting better at spotting exactly this.

We start from the opposite end — the real questions your customers ask before they buy, the objections that come up on every quote call, the comparisons they are making between you and the competitor down the road. That content ranks because it deserves to, and it converts because it does the selling before anyone picks up the phone.

What we will not do

Shortcuts in link building work right up until they do not, and the recovery costs more than the shortcut ever saved.

Private blog networks

Networks of fake sites built solely to sell links. Google finds them, and everything pointing out of them becomes worthless or worse.

Bulk paid links

The $20-per-link marketplaces. Same links your competitors bought, on the same sites, with the same footprint.

AI content at volume

We use AI as a tool, not an author. Unedited generated content at scale is exactly what recent Google updates target.

Keyword-stuffed filler

Doorway pages and thin suburb pages that repeat a phrase 40 times. It stopped working over a decade ago.

Content & link building questions

How many links do we need?

Wrong question, and any agency selling “20 links a month” is answering it. What matters is the gap between your link profile and the sites currently outranking you for your target keywords. Sometimes that is a handful of strong placements. Sometimes it is sustained work over a year.

Do you use AI to write the content?

We use AI for research, outlining and first-draft speed, then real editing by someone who has spoken to you about your business. What we do not do is publish generated text unreviewed — it reads like everyone else’s, adds nothing new, and is precisely what Google has been filtering out.

Who writes the content — do we need to supply it?

We write it. You supply the expertise: a 20-minute call about how you actually do the job, what customers get wrong, and what makes your approach different. That conversation is what separates content that ranks from content that repeats what is already on page one.

How long before content starts ranking?

New content on an established site can rank within weeks. On a newer site with little authority, three to six months is more realistic. Content also tends to climb steadily rather than arrive — a page that sits at position 18 in month two may be at position 4 by month six.

Can you fix content a previous agency published?

Usually, and it is often the fastest win available. Consolidating cannibalising pages, rewriting thin content and fixing internal links on existing pages frequently outperforms publishing anything new.

Is guest posting still worth doing?

On genuine industry publications with real readers, yes. On the “write for us” networks that publish anything for $80, no — those are paid links wearing a disguise, and Google treats them accordingly.
